Rep. Glenn Grothman avoided discussing anti-LGBTQ+ violence at a hearing of the House Oversight and Government Reform Committee about violence against the LGBTQ+ community. Instead, Rep. Grothman pivoted, leaning on typically hollow conservative talking points linking American violence to the “breakdown of the family,” “police hatred,” “open borders,” yada, yada, yada.
